Maintaining Balance

Maintaining Balance was created in 2017 at an art residency in Fowlers Gap Arid Zone Research Station, outside of Broken Hill, Australia. Without a clear plan of what was to be created, the artist developed a ritual of collecting stones and ended up forming a circle on the dry, red earth. It soon became evident, that the larger the circle grew, the further back Kronenberg had to stand to gain perspective of where stones needed to be added or subtracted.
