Measuring Time

Three geometric columns, carved out of solid timber, each have their own unique, repeated pattern emulating patterns in nature that symbolise the rhythm of life.

Buddhist philosophy teaches that nothing in the world is permanent. All is subject to change and decay.

The intention for Measuring Time was to give the tree from with the timber was cut a new life and purpose.
