A vertebra I found on a beach in Tasmania was given a new lease of life by 3D scanning and printing. The sculpture reflects my interest in life-cycles and how we vertebrates deal with our own inevitable fate.

The name Flux means continuous change, although I’m also interested in giving a nod to the Fluxus art movement led by Duchamp. He championed the use of everyday objects and the element of chance in art. I admire his stance at questioning and challenging the way we see art.
